Brazilian Butt Lift in Miami
A Brazilian butt lift in Miami is utilized in several areas that may need volume enhancement, particularly the buttocks. This procedure, also known as BBL, helps remove stubborn fat that no amount of dieting or workout routine can eliminate.
With a Brazilian butt lift in Miami, the buttocks are shaped through harvesting excess fat from unwanted areas and placing it into the buttocks and hips. A Brazilian butt lift in Miami helps balance the overall proportions of the body with the results being an improved shape, lifted buttocks, and a more sensual appearance.
Fat grafting to buttock
Fat grafting or fat transfer helps remove fat from unwanted areas and transfers it to the desired location. This technique popularly used in BBL and facial rejuvenation, has taken buttock augmentation to the next level. It’s safe, and there is less operative and recovery time involved as well as less pain and discomfort during recovery. You will also have the additional benefit of liposuction to donor areas that may need improvements such as the abdomen, back, thighs, and hips.

How a Brazilian butt lift is performed
At Unique Aesthetic Center we use the latest advanced technology to perform BBLs. The Brazilian Butt Lift is done under general anesthesia. Fat is taken from unwanted areas and re-injected into the buttocks.
- The procedure starts with harvesting the fat. Small incisions are placed at the donor site, and the fat is extracted though delicate liposuction always preserving the fat cells. Liposuction techniques help shape and define the donor area to improve the overall look.
- After the fat has been harvested, the cells are purified leaving only the best quality. The purification process helps remove blood, oils, and any other harmful chemicals. Also, the weak, fat cells are eliminated, and only the strongest fatty tissues are left and used for transfer.
- The fat is then threaded back into the layers of the buttocks, and the desired shape is achieved. Our surgeons will use the removed fat to sculpt the hourly glass shape you have always dreamed of.
Brazilian Butt Lift Recovery
The outcome of your Brazilian Butt Lift is highly dependent on the skill of your surgeon and the recovery process. After surgery, you will be instructed to wear a compression garment for two weeks to minimize swelling and fluid buildup. You can’t lay down on your back or sit on your buttocks for two weeks. The swelling can last up to six weeks, but you can resume normal activities in about three to four weeks.

We always advise our patients to communicate their expectations clearly during the initial consultation by bringing pictures they would like their results to look like. Brazilian Butt Lift procedure key Faqs
How much does a Brazilian butt lift cost?
The average cost of a BBL at Unique Aesthetic Center is around $6,500 up to $10,000. The price is based on several factors including the surgeon’s experience and complexity of the procedure. We understand that some patients can’t pay out of pocket. That’s why we offer several financing plans, including payment plans. The price should not be an issue but rather choosing a surgeon with experience performing this procedure.
BBL vs. Buttocks Implants: What's the Difference?
The Brazilian Butt Lift is done through grafting fat from donor areas such as the abdomen, back, hips, and thighs and then transferring it to the buttocks. Butt implants, also known as gluteal implants, are commonly filled with solid silicone or saline fluid, which can be used to add volume to your rear.
Is the Brazilian Butt lift safe?
The BBL is a complex procedure that may carry some risks, which are less frequent when performed by a surgeon with the right training and experience. During your initial consultation, you will be asked to sign some consent forms to confirm that you understand the BBL and the risks involved, which include:
- Issues with anesthesia
- Bleeding and infection
- Fluid accumulation and impaired wound healing
- Persistent pain, swelling, and unevenness
- Skin becomes loosed and changes colors
- Adverse scarring
What are some useful Brazilian butt lift recovery tips?
Some useful BBL recovery tips are:
- Follow post-operative instructions as advised by your surgeon
- Don’t miss follow-up appointments
- Avoid baths and pools until the area is fully healed
- Wear a compression garment post-operatively
- Stretch your legs often to encourage healing
- Catch up on sleep
- Eat nutritious meals and stay hydrated
- Wear loose-fitting clothes
What results can I expect from a BBL?
Results can vary from person to person, depending on the surgeon’s skill, patient’s anatomy, among other factors. On average, 50 to 80 percent of the fat transferred survives after recovery, which can vary widely based on several factors, including the volume transferred, tightness and skin elasticity, as well as level of care for the fat transferred. Surgeons generally transfer more fat than the desired volume to compensate for the loss. Thankfully, fat transfers last longer than other fillers, and you can enjoy the results for many years instead of months.
What is the right weight for a Brazilian butt lift?
To achieve the best results, patients need to be within a certain weight range to undergo this procedure. The ideal weight is based on several factors such as height, body type, and expectations. Candidates for this procedure should have some extra fat, particularly in the abdomen, thighs, and hips. Surgeons recommend a BMI above 23 or 24 but less than 30. Being a few pounds overweight is helpful as there will be more fat available in the donor sites.
How can I maximize fat survival after a BBL?
There are some things you can do after your fat transfer surgery to ensure that the fat survives:
- Besides wearing the compression garment as advised by your surgeon, you must wear clothes that support the healing process. Tight clothing, for example, may squeeze the newly transferred fat and kill the cells.
- You need some extra calories to feed the fat. Nutrient-dense diets with healthy fats such as salmon, avocados, almonds, butter, and extra virgin olive oil can supply your body with the vitamins and minerals needed during recovery.
- When it comes to sleeping, you must be creative. The newly implanted fat can’t be squished during the first two months of recovery. Thus, it’s advised to sleep on the sides or stomach for six weeks using the BBL pillow.
- Avoid driving for at least two weeks, especially in South Florida, labeled as one of the most congested areas in the world.
- Sit on your thigh and stand a few minutes to ensure blood circulation.
- Avoid smoking, as it will slow down the healing process.
Why do we encourage postoperative massage?
Some of the benefits of postoperative massage are:
- It’s scarless and non-invasive
- Reduces pain and inflammation
- Minimizes fibrosis formation
- Encourages skin regeneration
- Improves lymphatic system
- Decreases recovery time
